Use of Service
By using Pinglo, you agree to use the app lawfully, honestly and respectfully. Pinglo is operated by Ask For Task. Pinglo provides tools to help people report lost and found items, connect around possible matches, verify claims and arrange safer returns.
User Responsibility
You are responsible for the lost/found posts, claim answers, messages, profile information, reward information and optional proof materials you submit. You must make reasonable efforts to keep public reports accurate, respectful and free from private details that should not be public.
You must not claim items that are not yours, falsely report ownership, impersonate another person, misuse another person's data, or use Pinglo to facilitate theft, fraud, harassment or unsafe meetups.
No Guaranteed Recovery
Pinglo does not guarantee that any item will be found, returned, verified or recovered. The app supports communication and safer recovery workflows, but outcomes depend on user-submitted information and the actions of individual users.
Claims and Verification
Claim actions may require verification before full chat mode is unlocked. Users should only share private details needed to verify ownership. Pinglo may limit or reject claims that appear abusive, suspicious, incomplete or unsafe.
Safe Handoff Rules
- Meet in public places when arranging returns.
- Do not share banking credentials, passwords, personal ID documents or full addresses.
- Use in-app report/block tools for suspicious behaviour.
- Do not pressure another user to meet, pay, disclose private information or leave the app for unsafe communication.
Prohibited Content and Conduct
- Illegal, fraudulent, threatening, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or exploitative content.
- Posts that advertise unrelated goods or services.
- Public posts containing private documents, full addresses, banking details, passwords or sensitive personal information.
- Attempts to bypass verification, scrape data, spam users, manipulate rewards or disrupt the service.
- Content that falsely represents ownership or encourages unsafe handoff behaviour.
Content and Licence
By submitting content, you confirm you have the right to share it and grant Pinglo permission to host, display, process, sync and moderate that content only as needed to operate the lost-and-found service, support verification, provide safety features, respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.
Moderation and Removal Rights
We may review, remove, restrict or preserve content, posts, claims, chats or accounts if we believe they violate these Terms, create safety risk, involve fraud or harassment, infringe rights, or are required for legal, support or moderation reasons. We may also limit features while a report or dispute is reviewed.
Account Termination and Deletion
You may request account deletion in the app or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse claim flows, post prohibited content, or create safety risks. Some records may be retained where required for safety, disputes, fraud prevention, legal compliance or service integrity, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer
Pinglo is provided to support lost-and-found recovery and safer communication. The service is provided without a guarantee of item recovery, user behaviour, item condition, reward payment, or successful handoff.
