Small changes you’ll notice every time.
Version 1.5 made Pinglo look for matches for you. 1.5.1 smooths the parts that felt fiddly: saying where something happened, sharing a photo in a chat, and getting back into your account.

Possible matches came to you, found items took three taps, and private photos unlocked only for the owner.
Less typing, more privacy
Pick a place instead of typing it out, keep chat photos between the two of you, and reset a password by email.

Say where in a couple of taps.
Start typing a place, like a university, a station or a street, and pick it from the list. Nearest places come first. Or drop a pin on the map instead.
- Real places: pick from suggestions as you type.
- Or use the map: drop a pin where it happened.
- Shown as an area: the feed shows a rough area, not an exact spot.
New · Private chat photos
Photos in chats stay between you.
When you send a photo in a chat about an item, only you and the other person in that chat can see it. It’s handy for showing a scratch, a sticker or where you’ll meet.
- Two people only: the finder and the owner.
- Same chat as before: nothing new to learn.

Forgot your password? Reset it by email.
Tap “Forgot password?” when you sign in. We email you a link, you choose a new password, and you’re back in. Your reports and chats are where you left them.

Nearby alerts, your choice
Pinglo asks before sending alerts about things lost or found near you, and they stay off unless you turn them on.
Asked before it’s gone
Deleting your account always asks you to confirm first. Plus clearer messages when the feed is empty, and smaller fixes.

Private photos
A finder’s photo never appears in the feed. Only the owner sees it, after proving the item is theirs.
